Pop Up Mini Theatre

Free daily movies at Eastgate for the second week of the school holidays, 19th to the 25th July

Plus get a free small snack and drink, courtesy of Countdown.

Seats limited to 30 per session

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an older sibling or a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians please remain in the Centre whilst the movie is on. In the event of an emergency evacuation movie goers will be ushered out the main entrance into the carpark. Please meet us there to claim your child.

Christchurch Libraries Eastgate Tech Taster

Lots of free tech stuff at Eastgate the first week of school holidays. Find the Library Tech Tasyer next to Paper Plus.

Monday:

10am-12pm   DJ decks, GarageBand Instruments

1-4pm              Virtual Reality Session – Have a go! (13+)

Tuesday:

10am-12pm   Activity Zone – Get hands on with our STEAM activities

1-4 pm            Family Film showing – All welcome

Wednesday:

10am-12pm   Virtual Reality Session – Have a go! (13+)

1-4pm               Young Adult Film Showing – All welcome

Thursday:

10am-12pm   Discovery Wall and Local Heritage

1-4pm              Activity Zone – try out some coding!

Friday:

10am-12pm   Pull apart old computers and tech

1-4pm               DJ Decks, Make a phone speaker

Singing music and Thursday night dinner

Thursday night 24 June, in the Food court the Maea Ukulele Group will be jamming their fabulous music. A friendly fun evening of music and song. All the songs you will know. Come and join in bring the whole family in for dinner and enjoy the music filled air. You can join in too if you like. It will start a little before 6 and go through to close to 8pm.

Music fills the air

This Thursday night 10 June 2021 from 5:45 ’til 7:45 Andrew and his band will be jamming in the food court. All the music you love, tap your toes or sing along. 

Grab dinner and enjoy our space filled with music.

Open even in the rain

Eastgate is open today as usual. Depending on how things are with the emergency situation and the rain some retailers may close earlier. If you are coming down  later on today perhaps give them a call first.

We have  some exceptions. Pascoes, Paper Plus and Irazor are closed and Westpac is closing at 2pm.  We apologise for any inconvenience.
